One of the great things about this club is that nearly all members want to share their gun experiences. If someone brings in a new firearm or ammunition type, they're usually ready to share with others. The outdoor range is a mix of camaraderie, teaching, learning and fun. Bring your sense of humor, your gun, your ammo and be prepared for a good time.
CMP Match and Clinic scheduling varies. Centerfire and metallic sites only, no scopes are used at the range during CMP shoots. Scopes are allowed for general range practice. Rifles and ammunition are available. The club has a special high-power program. Part of the high-power program is a M1-Garand certification course. The club offers a unique program to not only certify but acquire your own M1 rifle in the state of California.
Our rifle and pistol range is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the exception of the 2nd Saturday of each month, when the range is closed for maintenance. Eye and ear protection is mandatory.
Club Members: $5.00
Non-members: $10.00
Jr. shooters (under 18): $3.00 and must be accompanied by an adult.
Here is one of our members having a bit of fun with a mini-14 at our outdoor range.
Just to show we're not gun hogs, we let a member's guest shoot the mini-14 as well. Just be careful of the flying brass!
